Adnan Siddiqui shared a photo with industry legend Anwar Maqsood along with a heartfelt note wishing him on his birthday. Taking to his Instagram stories, Siddiqui posted a selfie with Maqsood, extending his wishes and praying for his continued prosperity and happiness. Although Adnan affectionately referred to Maqsood as ‘Mamu,’ they are not related. Anwar Maqsood has been Adnan’s mentor and played a pivotal role in launching his acting career. Siddiqui calls him ‘Mamu’ as a mark of love and respect. He was first cast in Maqsood’s PTV play Khwabon Ki Zanjeer. The Maat actor often shares glimpses of moments with the legend, Maqsood with his fans. Earlier, in March, he shared a photo of himself playing the harmonium with Anwar Maqsood at someone’s wedding that he does not remember. Back in 2019, he wrote a very heartfelt note for Anwar, sharing the story of the beginning of his career and Maqsood’s role in it.
