Heavy gunfire ensued a loud explosion near the Dera Ismail Khan Police Training Centre on Friday night. The explosion was so loud that it was heard far away and spread panic in the area.  Security forces reached the Dera Ismail Khan Police Training Centre immediately after the gunfire broke out. As encounter continued between Dera Ismail Khan police and terrorists, a heavy police contingent was called to resist the attack. Reports suggest that Pakistan Army troops and DI Khan police have also reached the crime scene. Initial reports suggest that the terrorists entered the police training centre after blowing up the main gate.
