Meesha Shafi has entered her debut solo album Khulnay Ko in three Grammy categories. The album celebrated for its poetic depth and experimental sound marks Meesha’s evolution as a solo artist, highlighting her distinct musical expression and creative range. Meanwhile, Arooj Aftab, Pakistan’s first-ever Grammy winner, has submitted the remix of her acclaimed track Raat Ki Rani, featuring the American band Khruangbin. Both artists continue to earn global acclaim for their work, seamlessly blending Eastern and Western sounds while pushing creative boundaries in contemporary music. If selected, their nominations could further highlight Pakistan’s growing presence on the international music stage and reaffirm the country’s diverse creative talent.
