HBO Max is now officially available in Pakistan as part of Warner Bros Discovery’s global expansion, which now reaches over 100 markets worldwide. The rollout also includes launches in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Macau, Sri Lanka, and Ukraine. Pakistani viewers can now access the full catalogue of HBO and Max Originals, along with popular franchises from Warner Bros, the DC Universe, Harry Potter, and Discovery. The platform offers a mix of blockbuster films, award-winning series, documentaries, and family-friendly content—all in one place. Popular titles available in Pakistan include Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Penguin, and The Pitt. Hollywood hits like Superman and A Minecraft Movie, as well as complete collections of Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and The Matrix, are also on the platform. Discovery favorites such as Deadliest Catch and Gold Rush, along with children’s shows including Tom and Jerry, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, and Looney Tunes, are included. Iconic sitcoms like Friends and The Big Bang Theory will be available for streaming starting January 2026. HBO Max will premiere IT: Welcome to Derry on October 26 (October 27 in Asia Pacific), with upcoming movie releases including M3GAN 2.0, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, How to Train Your Dragon, and Weapons. The platform supports multiple devices and major smart TV brands, including LG and Samsung in select markets, and allows access while traveling in countries where HBO Max is available. Each account supports up to five personalized profiles with custom avatars, tailored recommendations, offline downloads, and parental controls for kids’ profiles. In Pakistan, HBO Max offers two subscription plans. The standard plan allows streaming on two devices simultaneously, supports full HD, and provides up to 30 downloads for offline viewing. The cost is Rs800 per month or Rs5,600 per year. The premium plan supports streaming on four devices simultaneously, offers up to 4K Ultra HD resolution and Dolby Atmos audio (where available), and allows up to 100 downloads.
