Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Qureshi on Monday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of YouTuber Ducky Bhai, until January 6 in a gambling app promotion case. She appeared in court along with her husband. During the proceedings, the judge noted that the case records had not yet been received and accordingly asked the FIA to provide the necessary documentation. After noting the hearing date, Aroob Jatoi returned from the court. Mr and Mrs Ducky Bhai have been under investigation in connection with the gambling app promotion case for months. Following his release on bail, Ducky Bhai opened up about the challenges he and his family faced during his 100-day ordeal after his arrest and subsequent release. In a vlog, he narrated the events following his arrest, claiming that officials physically and verbally mistreated him, and that an additional director allegedly instructed a young child to use harsh language against him. He alleged financial misconduct, claiming that an investigation officer transferred approximately Rs 90 million from his account. Ducky Bhai added that authorities later submitted a false report in court, claiming they had recovered the money from him. He said his family borrowed a Rs 6 million loan and transferred it to NCCIA officers after they confiscated his wife Aroob’s phone and threatened to file an FIR against her to extort money. Despite these allegations, Ducky Bhai also expressed gratitude toward officials who supported his family by interviewing each member and filing the case properly. He highlighted that his experience showed him that not all institutions are corrupt and that there are good people who serve as a means of justice. He praised the Lahore High Court for granting him bail, calling it a moment of justice he will always respect. He refrained from revealing all details of the experience, noting that a full account would have extended the video to four hours. Ducky Bhai clarified that he has no plans to leave the country, saying that after eight years on YouTube, Pakistan has given him everything, and he remains committed to staying despite recent challenges. Ducky Bhai also apologised to the nation if his content or promotions had caused any negative impact, emphasising that his goal has always been to entertain and offer something new to his audience. Ducky Bhai was arrested on August 16 at Lahore airport while travelling abroad over allegations of money laundering through gambling apps. He was later granted bail by the Lahore High Court against surety bonds of Rs 1 million and released on November 26.
