Iran\u2019s President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated Tajikistan on its Independence Day, saying Tehran has made the expansion of comprehensive cooperation with Dushanbe a foreign policy priority. In a message to President Emomali Rahmon on Monday, Pezeshkian congratulated him and the Tajik people on the 35th anniversary of their country\u2019s independence, which falls on September 9. He described the occasion as the \u201cmanifestation of national sovereignty and the beginning of fundamental transformations\u201d on the path toward Tajikistan\u2019s development and prosperity. \u201cThis auspicious occasion is a reminder of the Tajik people\u2019s firm determination and strong resolve in their pursuit of independence, dignity and pride.
