Highlighting the heavy cost of not constructing dams on the country\u2019s agriculture sector, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said on Tuesday that the Kalabagh Dam could bring a transformative impact. Addressing the media, Gandapur emphasized that politics should not interfere with the dam project, which, if completed, could become a major asset for the country. \u201cWe should work collectively on this,\u201d he stated. He added that the water resources allocation for each province is fixed. \u201cNo province will lose its share of water due to the construction of the dam,\u201d the CM clarified, noting that the project would benefit KP, Punjab, and Sindh alike. Gandapur also suggested that if the dam is constructed at Munda, no population displacement would be necessary. \u201cIt\u2019s important to remember that people had to be relocated when Tarbela and Mangla dams were built,\u201d he remarked.
