Party sources have indicated that the PTI founder personally directed Gandapur to resign to facilitate a smooth transition of leadership and ensure that the party\u2019s provincial government continues to operate with stability and focus. PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has confirmed that Sohail Afridi has been nominated as the new chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following Gandapur\u2019s resignation.
