Pakistan is set to host direct talks between the US and Iran on Saturday after a two-week ceasefire was announced between the two countries, bringing a pause to the hostilities which broke out on February 28. Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that delegations from the United States and Iran are expected to visit Pakistan, expressing hope that the talks could contribute to lasting peace in the region.
