Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that any threat against Iran\u2019s leadership or people would trigger an \u201cimmediate and powerful\u201d response. Reacting to remarks by Israeli minister of military affairs Israel Katz, Araghchi wrote in a post on X that Tel Aviv was attempting to undermine the agreement recently signed between Tehran and Washington. \u201cThe terms of the Islamabad MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) are crystal clear and public for all to see,\u201d Araghchi said. He said that under the MoU, signed on June 18, US President Donald Trump \u201chas committed the US to muzzling its pets in Tel Aviv. If they ignore their master, Iran will school them.\u201d \u201cAny threat against our People and Leadership will receive an immediate and powerful response,\u201d the foreign minister warned. Katz had threatened Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei on Monday, saying he was \u201cmarked for death.\u201d The threat came despite the interim agreement, brokered by Pakistan and Qatar, which ended the joint US-Israeli war against Iran and commits Iran, the US and its allies to refrain from launching military operations, threatening one another, or using force.
