Security forces carried out two successful operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eliminating 13 terrorists linked to a terrorist network sponsored by India.According to details, a joint operation in the Pahar Khel area of Lakki Marwat resulted in the killing of 10 militants. Three more terrorists were neutralized during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan. Security personnel also recovered arms and ammunition from the sites. Authorities stated that the dismantled group had been involved in a series of terror activities aimed at destabilizing the region. Following the operations, a thorough sanitization process has been launched to ensure that no remaining militants are hiding in the vicinity, with search efforts intensified. Interior minister praises forces Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the security forces, police, and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for what he described as a display of exceptional professionalism and dedication. He commended the successful neutralization of the militants in Lakki Marwat, saying the “brave sons once again thwarted the evil intentions of the enemies of peace.” Naqvi reiterated that the actions of the security forces and law-enforcement agencies to maintain stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are “highly commendable.” Commitment to ending terrorism The interior minister reaffirmed that operations against militant groups will continue with full force. “Operations will continue until the complete elimination of the enemies of peace,” he said, adding that with the support of the public, Pakistan will ultimately “eradicate the scourge of terrorism.” The successful operations mark another determined step by Pakistan’s security apparatus toward restoring long-term stability and protecting citizens across the province.
