A fire broke out at a fiber factory in Korangi’s Mehran Town area of Karachi on Saturday morning, causing part of the building to collapse. Rescue officials reported that the blaze severely damaged a section of the factory, leading to a partial structural collapse. Six fire tenders and two water bowsers were deployed, and firefighters were able to bring the fire under control after several hours of efforts. Cooling operations are currently underway. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
