Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised Pakistan’s armed forces for what he described as their “precision, speed and efficacy” in successfully completing two counter-terrorism operations in the Tank and Lakki Marwat districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In a statement, the Prime Minister commended security personnel for eliminating nine Fitnat-ul-Khawarij terrorists during the operations. He said that such successes play a crucial role in reinforcing the state’s resolve to maintain order and protect citizens from all security threats. Shehbaz Sharif expressed pride in the dedication and professionalism of the serving men and women of the armed forces, adding that the entire nation stands firmly behind them in the ongoing fight against terrorism. He emphasised that both the government and the people remain united and determined to eradicate all forms of terrorism that target Pakistan’s citizens, territory, and sovereignty.
